What we collect

When you sign up to see the demo or join our newsletter, we collect the information you enter in the form:

• Your email address
• Your first and last name
• Your business type

We may also collect basic, anonymous usage data (such as page visits) through standard web analytics to understand how the site is used.

Why we collect it

We use your information to:

• Send you the SeasideBuddy newsletter and occasional product updates you signed up for
• Give you access to the demo and any resources you request
• Understand which topics are useful so we can improve our content

We process this information on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the sign-up form. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.

How we store and process it

Your email and contact details are stored and processed by our email service provider, Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which sends our emails on our behalf. We do not store your details on any other system beyond what is needed to run the newsletter.

We never sell or share your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address or personal information to anyone. We only share data with the trusted service providers we rely on to operate (such as Kit for email delivery), and only to the extent needed to provide the service.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe anytime. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Access or delete your data. Email hello@seasidebuddy.com and we will provide a copy of your data or delete it on request.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honor those rights for everyone.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our active lists.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated by email where appropriate.
